Kyle Wesely, CPA, is Managing Shareholder of Wesely & Wesely CPAs in Minnetonka, Minnesota, a firm whose practice centers on planning and tax administration for charitable remainder and lead trusts. He aspires to amplify his positive impact by helping clients achieve their philanthropic goals through effective tax planning. He also has substantial family ties to rural Minnesota
and the Dakotas, which drive his work to bring education to improve wealth retention in rural communities as the farm industry evolves. Kyle has worked in public accounting for over a decade and joined his father and business partner, Tom, at the firm in 2017.
Kyle teaches the income and transfer tax module of the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) designation operated by the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies. He serves as treasurer of the Minnesota Gift Planning Association and on the Cornerstone Council for the St. Paul & Minnesota Foundation, and speaks regularly on charitable tax planning topics, most recently at the 2026 MNCPA Tax Conference. He holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and information systems from Iowa State University.
Outside of work and time with his family and two young children, Kyle can usually be found cycling, on a golf course, playing hockey, or thinking about his next trip to the mountains.
