Amber Hildebrandt is a partner at Brouse, Woodke & Hildebrandt, P.L.L.P., with offices in Bemidji and Fosston. Her practice is primarily devoted to estate planning, with specific focus on elder law issues and medical assistance eligibility. Amber graduated magna cum laude from Bemidji State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy. She received her Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2010, where she was a Burtness Scholar and served as research assistant to Professor Gregory Gordon, Treasurer of the Moot Court Board, and Treasurer of the International Human Rights Organization. During her law school tenure, Amber was engaged in preparing and filing an amicus brief on behalf of Holocaust Survivors to the United States Supreme Court in the case of Samantar v. Yousuf. Amber served as President of the 15th District Bar Association for 2015 and 2019,  member of the Elder Law Governing Council and 2021-2022 Chair of the Elder Law section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and Title Examiner for Beltrami County. Amber has also presented at several venues regarding medical assistance, including the 2016, 2019, and 2020 Elder Law Institutes.  She was selected as a Minnesota “Super Lawyers Rising Star” in 2019 and 2020 for her work in elder law.
