Masha Yevzelman is a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron P.A., and is the chair of the firm’s Tax Disputes and Litigation department. Masha represents public and private companies, trusts, estates and high-net-worth individuals in complex tax disputes. She has handled all stages of tax controversies – voluntary disclosures, audits, administrative appeals, tax court, district court and appellate litigation. Masha’s experience includes resolving and litigating numerous types of tax disputes, including state income tax and residency audits, sales and use tax, and federal and international tax disputes. Masha frequently presents on state and local tax issues and is an active member of the Council on State Taxation, Institute for Professionals in Taxation, the American Bar Association, and is past-chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Tax Council. She received her B.A. in History and Philosophy from Macalester College (manga cum laude), and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School (magna cum laude).
